My jewellery practice started in 2023, attending evening workshops after my university classes. After maintaining and developing my practice for three years, I created SAPU. Named after my mother’s small town in Brazil, Sapucaia, SAPU is a brand born to provoke my own practice in technique, presentation, and identity.
It pushes my boundaries as a craftsman and visual communicator. Taking inspiration from nature, embracing my impulsivity, and guided by process and discovery. I create solutions and techniques born from an experimental process, that a “perfect maker” wouldn’t be confronted with. More then a brand, SAPU is a design practice and mentality.
