A ceramic tableware set inspired by the forms, colours, and growth patterns of coral. Developed as a biomimicry project, the aim was to create objects that felt as though they had emerged from nature rather than been designed. Slump-moulding techniques were combined with an experimental approach to surface-making, pressing found objects such as fishnets and toys into the clay to create coral-like textures. By exploring different impressions, glazes, and organic forms, each piece developed its own character while remaining part of the same underwater landscape.
